Track and Better Understand Your MS

Multiple Sclerosis is a challenging disease to treat. Symptoms vary and progression and remissions occur in irregular and sometimes confusing ways. Understanding the state of MS is key to managing it effectively.

Functional Systems Scores (FSS) and The Kurtzke Expanded Disability Status Scale (EDSS) are used to evaluate and assess MS. These assessments encompass seven major functional systems: pyramidal, cerebellar, brainstem, sensory, bowel and bladder, visual, and cerebral.

Using this tool, you will compare your scores from six months ago with today. After you receive your assessment score, it’s critical to take your results to your doctor and discuss them thoroughly, as other tests and evaluations may be needed.
