Stuart SchlossmanAlternative therapies and devices for Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Vitamins and Supplements

This is the very question which Ryan McLaughlin from Glasgow,  Scotland has the answer to.
Ryan McLaughlin is only to well aware of the effects of Multiple Sclerosis (MS), it impacts on the lives of 10,500 people in Scotland and one of those affected by the diseases is his own Mum.
Multiple Sclerosis is an illness which has no cure, and to lessen the impact of MS on future generations Ryan McLaughlin wanted to fight for the prevention of MS and wants to stop other children from the same pain.
The effect that MS  has taken on his own family made him determined to fight to save other families the same pain.

Shine on Scotland Campaign Goals:

  • Providing Vitamin D to all of Scotland’s children and pregnant mothers
  • Clarification on the recommended daily allowance advice for pregnant mothers
  • To run a public awareness campaign to inform the public about the benefits of Vitamin D in relation to Multiple Sclerosis
When Ryan learned that Scientists had proven a link between MS and a lack of Vitamin D. People in Scotland are exposed to less sunshine, and it is the energy from the sun which triggers a chemical reaction in the body which leads to Vitamin D being produced. MS is rare in countries close to the equator which have a high amount of sunshine and more common at distant latitudes. For example, in the US – MS rates are lowest in Florida and rise towards Canada.
Multiple Sclerosis is an illness which has no cure, and to lessen the impact of MS on future generations Ryan McLaughlin wants to fight to fight for the prevention of MS and wants to stop other children seeing the pain and suffering that he has personally experienced
That is why Ryan from Glasgow started the Shine on Scotland campaign for Free vitamin D, as he truly believes that the Government providing Vitamin D supplements to all children and pregnant mothers is our one chance to Prevent Multiple sclerosis to stop future generations from suffering from the disease.
This is our one chance to prevent MS and together we can change your child’s future by simply providing Vitamin D for every child and pregnant mothers and It would cost just 1p per child a day
Ryan is fighting  for your children, for your grandchildren Will you join him in his fight?
