Fort Lauderdale, FL — MS Views and News held its 15th annual symposium this past weekend at the Renaissance Hotel in Plantation, Fort Lauderdale, gathering a community of nearly 120 attendees, including multiple sclerosis (MS) patients, family members, friends, and caregivers. The event provided a supportive space for education and networking, featuring a full program of sessions led by healthcare experts as well as opportunities for attendees to engage directly with pharmaceutical and community service representatives.
The symposium was supported by 14 leading pharmaceutical and other industry related companies, including Sandoz, Viatris, Memorial Neuroscience Institute, Novartis, TG Therapeutics, Mallinckrodt, FloMed Infusions, Octave and many others, whose representatives were on-site to provide information and answer questions about products, treatment options, and new advancements in MS care. Additionally, attendees were able to connect with local community service organizations offering guidance on topics from navigating medical insurance needs to understanding the role of service animals in managing chronic illness.
This annual event marked the culmination of a successful year for MS Views and News, which, in 2024, presented over 60 educational events across the United States and online, continuing its mission to provide accessible resources and information for the MS community.
“We are proud to bring together such a dedicated and engaged community to share in these learning experiences,” said MS Views and News, President, Stuart Schlossman, and grateful for the support of our exhibitors, speakers, and participants who help make these events a valuable resource for those affected by Multiple Sclerosis.”
