When my friends tell me they love breaking a sweat while working
out I tell them that breaking a sweat means I’m having another hot flash. I’ve
never been good about sticking to any exercise program, and after being
diagnosed with MS at 26 and becoming a mother at 34 exercise became a distant
memory. Today I look back with regret that I didn’t take exercise more
seriously. We all know how difficult it is to find time and energy to work out
when you’re living with a chronic illness.
