The Assistance Fund announced today the addition of their Premium Assistance Program for patients living with multiple sclerosis

Orlando, FL (PRWEB) September 09, 2011
The Assistance Fund announced today the addition of their Premium Assistance Program for patients living with Multiple Sclerosis.

Options exist for patients who suffer from chronic or life-threatening disease to access health insurance coverage. However, many individuals still struggle with the cost of such coverage. In an effort to truly make such insurance accessible, The Assistance Fund added premium assistance to their portfolio of patient services. Today, help is available for individuals who qualify under program guidelines to the extent that funds are available.

Mark McGreevy, Board Member at The Assistance Fund stated, “Thanks to the generosity of donors, we are able to offer another form of financial assistance to patients living with Multiple Sclerosis. Our premium assistance program complements the copay assistance program services we provide today. We continue our mission of improving access to specialty medications for individuals suffering from chronic or life-threatening illnesses.”
