The National
Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine (NCCAM) is the federal
government’s lead agency for scientific research on the diverse medical and
health care systems, practices, and products that are not generally considered
part of conventional medicine. The mission of NCCAM has been to support
research on complementary and alternative medicine and to disseminate
information to the public and professionals about which CAM interventions are
effective, which are not, and why.
The most

In addition to reports on a range of topics, the website provides a link to the
organization’s blog as well as other helpful advice, such as how to find a CAM
practitioner.
