Telling new stories about MS in Black and Africans Americans

Until recently, the impact of multiple sclerosis (MS) on the Black and African American communities wasn’t fully understood. We now know that it’s more common than previously thought, and Black and African Americans may be diagnosed later and experience more severe symptoms.

In this documentary, we follow the stories of two inspiring people living with MS—Tyler and Dawn. We also hear from Dr. Mitzi Williams, neurologist, and Dr. Sophia Woodson, nurse practitioner, DNP, APRN-BC, who share their expertise on MS and how it can be managed.
