I provided the following answer, that I found on the internet, however IF anybody has anything else or anything better, to add to this, then please reply via leaving a comment.
The ADA only applies to places of public accommodation. A condominium is privately owned and thus is not subject to the ADA. Similarly, rental apartments are not covered by the ADA. The only time the ADA comes into play is in public areas. Accessibility requirements for condos and apartments are addressed by the Fair Housing Act (FHA).
